Starting from the exhibition Somewhere from Here to Heaven, produced by Azkuna Zentroa and curated by Garbiñe Ortega, this catalogue book arose as an admiration and acknowledgment space for Bruce Baillie, an “essential” filmmaker of the 60s and remarkable promoter of experimental film. Unpublished texts in some cases, historical in others, they set up a dialogue revolving around the figure of one of the most influential creators of US avant-garde cinema.
