Malús Arbide is an artist and textile designer, with painting as her training and professional career starting point. During the advanced stages of her artistic production, her paintings dealt with repeated motifs all over.This led to her interest in textile design and printing.
The use of diagrams of scientific illustration or mathematics is common elements in Malús’ work. She chooses apparently abstract images, which are however capable of describing knowledge via graphic computational language. She finds great aesthetic value in these kinds of representations and feels attracted to that cryptic mysterious language for the uninitiated. This design was created from one of this interest.
